To enhance our service, Rumah Kecil provides Day Care and After School Program. Our Daycare is a continued program after the morning classes are done. We combine the extracurricular program with lots of engaging activities as a part of our service. We also provide nap time and healthy afternoon snack every day. During the school holiday, our daycare is open from 8 am – 5 pm, which incur an extra charge. Another part of our service is the After School Program. This program accepts students from other schools which is starts at 2.30 pm. Parents may choose the best e activity for their children. Our latest pick up time is 5 pm. Our extra activities for the Daycare and After School Program is Karate, Art Class, Music Class, Capoeira, Swimming and Ballet Class.
In Rumah Kecil School we believe being active is a good thing for children that is why we provide Karate as sone of our after school program. Learning Karate is not only learning about self-defence practices, it also focus on individual progress and can be a good alternative to team sports. It can help with self-esteem, coordination and executive functioning. It also will help to teach children the art of self-discipline. All too often in the modern day children are accustomed to getting what they want when they want. Karate teach restraint and patience.
Art is very important for children development stage especially in early age. It encourages fine motor skills, neural development, and problem-solving abilities and that it can be used effectively to teach and understand other key subjects such as reading, writing, math, and science. Art is naturally linked to creativity, an attribute that is increasingly being touted as one of the most important factors for the success of individuals, organizations, and cultures.
Music helps develop language, literacy and communications skills. Music stimulates the various senses and helps children in learning and improving language skills. Music also develops listening, reading and writing skills, improving fluency of speech, and communication.
Capoeira for kids, not only teaches self-defence, improves balance, coordination, reflexes, spatial awareness and flexibility and fitness but it also improves self-esteem, confidence and an ability to overcome fear and personal challenges.
Swimming is not only enjoyable, but it provides a multitude of physical and mental benefits. It allows your child to develop water safety and survival skills, builds strength, muscle tone and assists with balance and coordination
Ballet is one of the most graceful forms of dance. It has been around for centuries and has produced some of the most talented and awe-inspiring performers of all time. The benefits of ballet aren’t just physical. Children who study ballet develop emotionally in many ways too. Children also will learn to express themselves better by using their bodies and facial expressions to narrate a story and express emotions.
